Bernie has been “working with words” his entire professional life, which has included stints as a business newspaper reporter, community newspaper features journalist, scriptwriter, marketing and advertising copywriter, management journal editor, and business ghostwriter. His specialty is pinpointing the essence of a story and telling that story in a clear and compelling way in a variety of formats. He is especially adept at turning highly complex issues—especially those involving business and management topics—into powerful narratives that connect strongly with a target audience.
For the past 20 years, Bernie has applied his writing expertise to the thought leadership marketing discipline. During this time, he co-founded two pioneering thought leadership marketing firms to help professional services and other B2B companies create powerful marketing content that positions them as voices of authority, engages clients and prospects, and generates demand. His work with clients has spanned virtually every aspect of marketing content development in a B2B setting, including business books, research reports, white papers, bylined and feature articles, case studies, website copy and conference presentations.
Prior to founding his own firms, Bernie worked as a senior marketer and researcher at Computer Sciences Corporation and Ernst & Young. He is a graduate of Xavier University.
