Susan Buddenbaum is a senior marketing professional who combines broad functional marketing expertise with substantial operations and general management skills. She has more than 15 years of experience in the sales, marketing and delivery of business process and technology consulting services.
As head of North American head of marketing for Capgemini (formerly Ernst & Young Consulting), Susan was responsible for overall marketing strategy and brand management, as well as the functional areas of advertising, public relations, events, direct marketing, partner co–marketing, sales support, and Web services. She has extensive experience in creating and implementing demand–generation campaigns, developing comprehensive programs to promote executive expertise, developing loyalty programs to further relationships with key customers, and creating lead–generation methods for new–market entry.
Prior to joining Capgemini, Susan was a marketer and consultant at Computer Sciences Corporation, where she provided consulting services to major consumer products and retail clients to improve their supply chain operations and demand/supply management. Her projects ranged from strategic logistics planning to identifying and implementing operational improvements and implementing supply chain technologies. While at CSC, Susan represented the company’s points of view to influential trade associations, media, analysts and executive forums, and she led numerous industry research projects for sales, marketing and public relations purposes.
Before joining Alterra Group, Susan was a Partner at The Bloom Group, where she developed thought leadership marketing strategies for clients such as The Forum Group and the Supply Chain Council.
Susan holds an MBA in logistics from The University of Tennessee and a bachelor of science in quantitative business analysis from Indiana University.
